Tuesday:
House (FOX) – The most common criticism leveled at “House” is that the plots are formulaic and predictable. My response is that you can’t have too much of a good thing. The witty dialogue and character development (and great soundtrack) more than make up for the fact that Dr. House always ends up being right. In fact, the show often attracts fans that mirror the protagonist: infallible, ingenious, and misunderstood.

American Idol (the auditions) (FOX) – I only watched the audition stage of the last two seasons. Fans of the auditions enjoy laughing at other people’s expense and witnessing both the dawn and twilight of a few great talents that will soon be tweaked and exploited beyond recognition.
